Victoria Cáceres (Buenos Aires, 1968) is a writer, Bachelor in Lettres from University of Buenos Aires. She writes fiction, short stories and novels; and her work has been translated to English, Korean, Malayalam, Uzbek, Italian, Russian and Chinese.

She has been a writer-in-residence in International Writing Program, Iowa City, USA (2004); Shanghai Writing Program, Shanghái, China (2014); and HALD, Viborg, Denmark (2015).

She published El baño turco (short stories, 1997),  La fuga de Pollock (novel, 2014), El corazón cansado (novel, 2017), La retina infiel (novel, 2018), and Doméstico Banal (novel, 2019). In 2022, she published her first essay, Los papeles de Juan Carlos Mauri, a biography of her grandfather, a writer from the Argentinian avant-guards from 1920s.


She lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
